WARNING: Ensure that surgical gloves and protective eyewear are worn whenever
cleaning or maintaining any part of the suction system.
Step 1:
Ensure that foam or foaming products CANNOT enter the suction system through your cleaning and maintenance procedures. This means that all items used to clean the system be dedicated to that job only (ie, if a brush is used for cleaning a filter it should not be used for anything else).

Step 2:
Aspirate a solution of Pulijet PLUS through the suction tubes using the Pulse Cleaner.
Step 3:
Once the solution of Pulijet PLUS has been aspirated through the suction system, do not aspirate any more fluids into the system; the Pulijet PLUS will work overnight in the pipes.
Step 4:
Clean the primary filter (solids collector) in the surgery, taking to care to ensure no products that can cause foam have contact with the filter.
Step 5:
At the beginning of the working day, place an Antifoaming Disinfectant Tablet in the primary filter (order code M140825 - carton of 50). Leave the tablet in its plastic cover - it will disintegrate as fluids pass through the filter.
